Niksphere is a holistic Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) for running a wide variety of business applications ("Apps"), ranging from lightweight CRMs to comprehensive ERPs and Document Management Systems (DMS).
Public apps are published on the Niksphere Marketplace and can be installed by any organization. Private apps are developed exclusively for specific enterprises to support proprietary business processes directly on their Niksphere instance.
Niksphere can be operated Self-Hosted or via Niksphere Cloud (Fully Managed).

End-users interact with the platform through a modern web browser interface. The distinction between different apps is completely transparent to the user—they only see the relevant data, pages, and actions needed for their tasks. End-users can personalize their user interface (showing/hiding fields, adjusting column positions, setting sort preferences) without technical knowledge.
For Developers
Niksphere offers developers a declarative, robust foundation for building high-performance enterprise applications:
- Declarative YAML Definitions: Core structures (database entities, user interfaces, REST APIs, reports) are defined cleanly in simple YAML files.
- Event-Driven Business Logic: Complex business logic is attached via an event-driven system (Pascal event handlers), keeping code modular and maintainable.
- Developer Experience (DX): Full VS Code integration with auto-completion, live debugging, CLI tools, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
Public Specifications & Schemas
To integrate seamlessly into modern developer workflows, Niksphere publishes machine-readable specifications and schemas for every build:
- OpenAPI Definitions: Machine-readable REST API documentation for backend services, allowing external microservices, AI agents, and integration platforms (Zapier, etc.) to communicate seamlessly.
- AI & MCP Ready: Model Context Protocol (MCP) agents retrieve rules directly from the single source of truth to generate error-free application manifests.
